Wu Qiuyan 70’s ，was born in Qingdao,
Graduated from Central Academy of Fine Arts (bachelor's degree) in 2003,
Been the leader of the laboratory which is one part of the experimental film department in CAFA in 2006,
Graduated from California College of Art Academy Film/CAFA cooperative projects (master’s degree) in 2008
Created experimental film art organization which called “ Translation "in 2008
Now he is the teacher of CAFA in order to carry out in more than one department dedicated to promote experimental courses, research the media arts cross-cultural space.
His Image/device/comprehensive painting works was exhibited widely in Britain, France, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Poland, Morocco, Korea, Beijing, Taiwan, Pingyao etc… From his individual creations , his independent plans of multiple international exhibition project dedicated to research on experimental video media in different cultural space of experience mode, and will transfer part of its ideas into college teaching and cross-border experimental theater performance is put forward, such as the "space media arts", "new media experimental film", "magic media", "similar theater performance", etc… in cross-border concept.
He is the CAFA’s teacher, the experimental media art’s explorer, the independent curator, and the cross-border creative workers
